Project SEARCH Experience Begins

Six interns began their Project SEARCH experience at War Memorial Hospital in August. The Project SEARCH High School Transition Program is a unique, one-year-school-to-work program that takes place entirely at War Memorial Hospital. It’s a total workplace immersion program that combines classroom instruction, career exploration, and hands-on training through internships at the hospital.

The EUPISD is proud to be offering this program as the first one in Northern Michigan among over 500 sites worldwide. If you have a few minutes check out this fantastic video overview of Project SEARCH and Natalie's Story to help you understand the impact of this program.
