Kelli coordinates with the host business (War Memorial Hospital), the department managers and mentors that are providing the internships, the skills trainers working with the interns, the interns' parents and outside agencies, such as Michigan Rehabilitation Services. She serves as each intern's designated case manager for their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).  She recruits new students with local school districts.  Assists the skills trainers and Michigan Rehabilitation Services in securing competitive employment at the end of Project SEARCH for every intern through a variety of marketing and networking activities.

Kelli came to the EUPISD in January 2015 and worked as a transition program teacher at the EUPISD Learning Center.  She worked with secondary special education students in a classroom setting with a focus on transition goals in the areas of independent adult living, community involvement and gaining employment.  These students participated in a variety of work based learning experiences including the opening of a school based bistro and coffee shop called the Bulldog Bistro.  Previous to coming to EUPISD, Kelli worked as a school social worker, early childhood special education teacher, preschool teacher, and kindergarten teacher.
