World Languages Overview
The EUPISD World Languages Curriculum Review Team has been developing a consistent curriculum with assessments to be utilized for all World Language teachers within the district. Our group ensures our curriculum is in line with the most current standards and benchmarks for teaching World Languages, and are meeting current requirements for High School graduation.The team began in 2011 and is open to all World Language teachers in the EUPISD. We currently have representatives from Brimley, J.K.L. Bahweting, Ojibwe Charter, Sault High School, Sault Middle School. We welcome, and would like, representatives from any and all other schools within our EUPISD who have a World Language teacher.School Year meetings for 2018-19 are below. Please follow the registration process to attend.This year we will again be offering Virtual Learning Modules through American Council for Teaching Foreign Languages. We will utilize three learning modules and upon completion each participate will receive a certificate for that content area. You do not have to be an active member of ACTFL to take part. We will be devoting a portion of each meeting to completing learning modules.
