Decisions regarding the use of software and apps by teachers and students lie with District Administrators. The onus of FERPA compliance and the protection of PII on behalf of parents and students is upon the District. The REMC22 Director and staff are available for consultation to review Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.
Region-wide supported apps include:
Technicians supporting districts have the necessary credentials to install and deploy software and apps. However, they do not have the authorization to do so until directed by the REMC22 Director.
The following flowchart corresponds to the steps outlined in the Software and Apps Authorization Process. Technicians who receive requests for software and apps made by any individual other than the REMC22 Director will return the request to the originator with a link to this information.
