Ms. Ashley Allison
Early Childhood Parent Educator
Ashley works as the early childhood parent educator. She uses the Parents As Teachers curriculum to provide parents with educational information on parenting and child development. She works together with the parents to achieve individual goals for the family unit as well as milestone goals for the children. She helps promote early literacy and school readiness for children ages 0-5. Having a parent educator also helps lower the risk of childhood abuse and neglect. She connects families with local resources that fit their individual needs.
Since 2002, Ashley has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education. She has worked in Montessori infant and toddler classrooms as well as an Early Headstart classroom.
