Ms. Gwen Malaska
MiCI Teacher
As a teacher at the EUPISD Learning Center, Gwen has many duties throughout each day and throughout the school year. Each day she mentors, teaches lessons, inspires students and staff, coaches students through difficult tasks, listens to students' difficulties, plans lessons, encourages students to meet their goals, organizes the classroom, and promotes positive attitudes. School-wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) are utilized in her classroom to teach behavioral expectations to each student. Her goal is to help each student reach his or her full potential every day, no matter what. Through classroom lessons and Individualized Education Plans, Gwen strives to assist students in meeting their academic and personal goals.
