Ms. Rachel Denis
Early On Primary Service Provider/Speech-Language Pathologist
Rachel Denis is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist that has been practicing in the Eastern Upper Peninsula since 2001. Rachel provides supports and services to infants/toddlers with developmental needs and their families through the Early On program. She also facilitates the EUPISD Speech-Language Pathologist workgroup.
Through her numerous years in the EUP, Rachel has provided services to children and their families in various locations, from early childhood settings through high school. Rachel has participated in multiple professional development opportunities to further her clinical skills in pediatric feeding/swallowing; autism spectrum disorders; early on primary service provision; school-based therapy delivery; and infant mental health. She has served as an autism coach in the region and works closely with local early childhood centers/programs to ensure children with developmental needs are adequately supported.
