Ms. Brittany Stabile

Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Consultant

The EUPISD Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Consultant works to support early childhood transitions within the EUPISD district, including supporting children transitioning out of the Early On program, as well as supporting the Sault Area Public School District with education and activities for all children transitioning to kindergarten. Transition trainings and events are planned and scheduled throughout the year for families, staff, community members, or other partners, such as early learning programs. The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Consultant also provides targeted transition support for children with IEPs and will consult with early childhood teams to discuss considerations for family priorities/wishes, what the team may need to consider to support the child in being able to engage, build social relationships, and participate in school routines, as well as work to support the team in understanding the child’s unique strengths and potential needs for which targeted evidence-based practices may be beneficial.

Brittany's past work experience includes teaching in elementary schools and working as a local preschool director.
