Mr. Jason Kronemeyer
Director of Technology and REMC 22
Jason Kronemeyer is the director of Technology and the Regional Educational Media Center 22 (REMC 22) at the Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District (EUPISD). He serves as the leader of the infrastructure and technical services component of the Eastern Upper Peninsula Telecommunications Consortium (EUPTC) regional network. Jason provides leadership to constituent districts regarding the most cost-effective method for delivery of technology in support of education, as well as the deployment, management and support of the regional network. Jason also leads regional and state technology initiatives, both internal and external to education. He works to create new markets for leadership in educational technology while anticipating capacity needs and evaluating the cost effectiveness of systems.
Jason began working at the EUPISD in 1999 following a four-year enlistment in the United States Air Force, working as a signals intelligence analyst. During his tenure at the EUPISD, Jason has been involved in all aspects of designing, managing and deploying regional systems including a network infrastructure which provides critical connectivity to K12 schools across the Eastern Upper Peninsula (EUP) including Chippewa, Mackinac and Luce Counties.
