The EUPISD Learning Center (formerly known as the Rudyard Center) is housed within Rudyard Area Schools and provides special education programs and services to students who have moderate to severe disabilities ranging in age from 3 to 26 years from the EUPISD's constituent districts. There are six classrooms operating at the Learning Center including:

Emotionally Impaired- Elementary and Secondary

Moderately Cognitively Impaired- Elementary/Middle and Transition

Mildly Cognitively Impaired- Middle/Secondary

Early Childhood Special Education- 3-6 year old
Sending districts are able to provide students with specialized programs and instruction that they would not otherwise have access to as costs are shared regionaly. At this time the EUPISD Learning Center staffs classrooms with a 3:1 ratio with approximately 41 staff members that include teachers, ancillary staff, instructional aides, bus drivers, transportation aides, and office personnel.
