Time Needed for Instruction
Below are the revised, accurate numbers of lessons and time needed to implement the K-6 Michigan Model for Health with fidelity:
· K = 21 lessons (~15 minutes each) 315 minutes = 7.8 hours
· 1st = 24 lessons (~25 minutes each) 615 minutes = 10.25 hours
· 2nd = 20 lessons (~30 minutes each) 540 minutes = 9 hours
· 3rd = 25 lessons (30 minutes each) 750 minutes = 14.5 hours
· 4th = 26 lessons (40 minutes each) 1,040 minutes = 17.7 hours
· 5th = 31 lessons (40 minutes each) 1,240 minutes = 22.1 hours
