Welcome to the Autism Spectrum Disorder portion of the Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District's webpage! This site was developed to provide resources to those working with students on the spectrum.

Grand Valley State University houses the START Program (Statewide Autism Resources and Training) in their Autism Education Center. It is funded by the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Special Education, to provide training, assistance and resources to school-based teams in Michigan that support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Guiding Principles for Educating Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders were developed by the Autism Coaches to support teams as they seek effective supports for students with autism. (See document, below).
