Reading Recovery State and EUP Site 755 Data

The information presented below compares Michigan's Reading Recovery and the EUP Site 755 Reading Recovery data for the past three years.  The state data shows students with complete interventions.  These students received a full series of lessons or 20 weeks.  The EUP data also shows the full intervention status as well as outcomes for ALL students.  For example, if a student received only one lesson in Reading Recovery this student's data is included.

Students’ interventions that are cut short by mobility, insufficient time at the end of the school year, or by rare and extreme circumstances cannot be considered complete interventions. Therefore, another way to interpret the data may be useful. The number of students whose series of lessons were successfully discontinued can also be examined as a percentage of the students who had an opportunity for a complete intervention.
